Online Rummy regulations state that a declaration must have a minimum of two runs, one of which must be pure. There must be three or more cards in either the First Life or the Second Life. The player can hit the "Declare" button once the goal has been reached.

According to the rummy card regulations, all other players at the table must declare after a valid declaration has been made. All mismatched cards are counted for the players. According to the rummy rules, each player must complete a minimum of two runs (First Life and Second Life), failing which all 13 cards are considered unmatched and counted. If none of the 13 cards match, the player is penalized maximum 80 points.


Quitting the game


A player loses 20 points if they leave the game without selecting any cards from the discard or stockpile. The player loses 40 points if the drop occurs mid-hand before any other player has made a legitimate declaration.

The winner receives the prize money when the points for everyone are totalled.
Some guidelines for playing online rummy:

  • A joker (wild card) can also be used as a stand-in for any missing cards in a sequence or run. This kind of sequence is not pure. In a non-pure sequence, a player is only allowed to utilize one joker.
  • A set consists of two (or three) such cards and a joker, or three or four cards of the same rank but different suits.
  • The winner receives the cash prize after all lost points have been calculated for everyone.
  • Except for printed jokers, three cards of the same rank and suit are viewed as a pure sequence or run.
  • Jokers that haven't been used can all be placed separately when declaring and held with 0 points.
